Here are 5 Easy Things You Can Do to Care for Yourself in 15 Minutes

We all go through difficult days to varying degrees. Whether you need a midday reset or tools to add to your toolbox to address anxiety, here are five 15min tasks anyone can do to reset their day:

1. Follow a guided meditation: You can find guided meditations on Youtube or apps such as the @calm app offers a wide variety to choose from. We also have a guided breathing exercise that you can try on our website under the 'Watch' tab.

2. Cross off some tasks from your to-do list: take a hard look at your list - what's urgent? What's not? Remove anything that's not urgent. Or simply close tabs on your screen. Lots more mental space already, right?

3. Take a 'no phone' walk: or put it on airplane mode.

4. Do some free writing: Journalling has huge benefits as you can get your thoughts out of your head on paper and move on with your day, gain insights, or just do a little mental housekeeping.

5. Take your shoes and socks off to ground yourself: Can you get outside? Let your feet sink into the grass, or feel the warmth of the sun on a deck. You can even do this indoors on your floor at home. This is a way to feel grounded.
